What can I do with an enhanced CD?

1. Web links. On an enhanced CD we can have everything from an automatic launch that takes you right to a link to your website as well as the labels website or anything else you may think your audience would get something out of. This enables your audience to find out what your band is up to, other releases, and when you are playing and information that will always be up to date. You can connect your fans to your MP3 sites to get an unreleased song or sample other pieces of the bands material. This takes up a very small portion of your CD and the majority of Full Length CDs can fit lots of material on them.

2. Live Footage/Movies. Depending on the length of the audio portion of your CD you can put many diffrent forms of video with an audio track that will play when inserted into a computer (Mac or PC). The content of what you put on is only limited by your own imagination.

3. Bios/Lyrics Liner Notes. If you're doing a demo CD a great way to save on paper and look much more cutting edge is to put all your promotions material on the enhanced CD.

4. Pictures. If your band has a lot to offer visually this is a great way to take advantage of it.

5. Copy Protection. Putting an enhanced CD portion on your CD makes it more difficult for someone to be able to copy your CD on modern computer CD Rippers/Burners. This cuts down on unlicenced distribution of your music. Many major record companies now put a small onepage enhanced protion on all of their CDs to prevent unwanted duplication.
