Sara Brown – Engineer
Sara is West West Side Music’s Assistant Mastering Engineer. She does production work on projects that are mastered in the studio. She is highly effective at working closely with clients to get sequencing, fades, and Final Master Files just right. She also enjoys works on mixing projects in a number of different genres of music.
Sara has experience in recording studios, mastering studios, and at companies that design and make audio equipment. She has worked at API (Automated Processes, Inc), testing and building analog audio gear. She also has experience setting up and running live sound reinforcement systems and has done live-to-air mixing of bands for FM Radio Broadcast. Sara has a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Masters Degree in Audio Sciences: Recording and Production from Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University.
Some music acts/groups that Sara has worked with include: Girl Talk, Forever the Sickest Kids, Parker House and Theory, The Fault Line, Wave of 3, Qing Li (violinist, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra), and Mark Radice.
