PRICING for AUDIO MASTERING

We find individual project estimates are very helpful to our clients since the needs of each client and the demands of each project are different. We have a team of excellent engineers from which you can choose based upon your needs, and be confident you’ll be getting professional service. We state our rates here to give you an idea of what it could cost. The following is a brief guideline of our rates and fees:

Audio Mastering Rate
$110-150/hr (depending upon engineer choice). We estimate approximately 1 hour of studio time for every 10 minutes of program material, then add an extra hour for sequencing and making discs or files. For example, a 40 minute CD usually takes about 5 hours to complete. This is an estimate however and can vary from project to project. Final Master Delivery
Option 1 – CD-R PMCD master w/PQ Subcode & disc error & audio verification – $120.00 each
(This is required for us to send directly to a pressing plant without client verification)
Option 2 – CD-R PMCD master  w/disc error verification – $40.00 each
Option 3 – CD-R Reference  - $20.00 each
Option 4 – DDP Image Master w/ref check disc – $120.00
Option 5 – DDP Image Upload – $65.00.

Additional Options - Call us with concerns
DeNoising/DeClicking – Usually can be done quickly (5-15mins/song) during the session. However Vinyl transfers and more indepth DeNoising can take more time.
Vinyl Splits Masters – V/S High Resolution Masters created from CD Mastering session – $50.00
Enhanced CD Multimedia Programing – Usually $170-500.
Format Specific MP3/AAC Encoding – $50.00/project

Mastering New Mixes or Instrumentals for an Existing Session  - 1/2 hourly rate with recall sheets

Initial Session Backup Fee - $25.00/project (mandatory)
