Analog Mixing

Digital audio so much defines the world we live in that many people may not have worked in an "old school" environment. You've heard what analog recording gear can do though, and it's nothing short of amazing. Over decades of making music, West West Side Music has accumulated quite a list of analog recording and mixing equipment.

So one day Steve asks, “Hey Alan, why don’t we set all the old analog gear up in the back room?”

What can we say… Alan's MCI/Sony board is in the back room ("Studio C", but we just call it "Analog") being fed signal by a ProTools rig and our Mighty Studer A80 24 track (with 16 track head stack as well). The huge EMT Plate reverb was very much in the way too, so it got hooked up along with a solid selection of new and vintage outboard.
